New Year | January 2019

Each January, Mark and I have the privilege of gathering with our Youth For Christ colleagues from Eastern Canada (defined as Ontario and east). This year’s conference was hosted in Toronto, and the theme was “joy”. The hosting team did a brilliant job of leading seminars that focused on reconnecting us with Jesus, who brings joy in every season (including the dead of winter!). It is always so great to meet with other YFC staff, especially since I largely work independently and don’t often get the chance to spend time with the other 800 YFC staff in Canada. The common vision and uniting purpose across staff truly does make the group feel like a special family instead of co-workers.

Also, two large praise reports: Jeff did not get deported over Christmas (see photo below), and thanks to some new partners I am getting very close to being able to start working full-time! I am just over $600/month away from hitting this milestone goal which I have been working towards since starting with YFC. I am praying for new partners to come on board, so that I can start full-time before my 2-year YFCiversary in May. Have you been considering partnering with me? I would love to buy you a coffee (even a fancy latte!) and share more about the ministries of YFC and what partnership could look like for you. Already a partner? Would still love to buy you a coffee and share more updates in person! CLICK HERE FOR A COFFEE DATE
